Chester Lake, Snoeshoeing

Leigh & Kyle asked us to join them on another showshoeing adventure, this time in Kananaskis Country...

The temperature dipped below -25 degrees but the sky was crystal clear with a full day of sunshine. The walk was like a winter wonderland, with snow covered trees. The highlights were blizzard training, eating giant icecreams, and bombing the track coming down the mountain.

Lake Louise

Today Trish & Walt wanted to try out their new skis on the mountain while Jax, Kirsten & I checked out Lake Louise. Although it was snowing constantly, the place still took our breath away. The Chateau there is huge and very lavish, they even had a lady playing the harp inside. We enjoyed checking out the stores inside as well as playing out on the ice later on.
